Story

They said she was as rare and exquisite as a sable – a unique blend of grace, sophistication, and allure, her presence was luxurious, marked by an air of timelessness.

Her allure was undeniable, drawing you in with an irresistible magnetism. Like sable's rich, dark hues, her persona was deep and intriguing, holding a wealth of experiences and wisdom. Her laughter was a melodic symphony, as velvety and enchanting as the touch of sable. Her elegance was second nature, effortlessly gracing every moment with a touch of opulence.

You are exquisite. You are timeless. You are your most beautiful self when you wear this striking blue Chanderi saree that’s made of pure silk and zari, and embellished with dainty embroidered lace.

Description

The Chanderi fabric, which combines pure silk on the warp and zari on the weft, radiates light from within and stands out in the most delicate way. The sarees are painstakingly handwoven, with master weavers dedicating a few days to each piece. In fact, the tradition of Chanderi weaving dates back to the 13th century. In the 1350s, Kosthi weavers migrated to Chanderi, a town in Madhya Pradesh, from Jhansi, from where they propagated this weave. It is said that the royals of several dynasties famously favoured Chanderi fabrics for their richness and utility in the searing hot summers of the plains. Suta has further added to the festive allure of the fabric with delicate embroidered lace embellishments.
