Story

Her beauty and aura radiated warmth, much like the rich, honeyed hues of amber. Her spirit was as ancient as the earth itself, holding the stories of generations before. Her smile radiated a gentle, golden light that illuminated her eyes, revealing in flashes a universe of secrets. Her presence was a treasure trove of memories and experiences, a repository of love and laughter that had weathered the test of time. She was a luminous reminder of the beauty and resilience that found in the most ancient and timeless souls.

You’re so golden, you make our hearts swoon, especially when you wear this gold Chanderi saree that’s made of pure silk and zari, and embellished with dainty embroidered lace.

Description

The Chanderi fabric, which combines pure silk on the warp and zari on the weft, radiates light from within and stands out in the most delicate way. The sarees are painstakingly handwoven, with master weavers dedicating a few days to each piece. In fact, the tradition of Chanderi weaving dates back to the 13th century. In the 1350s, Kosthi weavers migrated to Chanderi, a town in Madhya Pradesh, from Jhansi, from where they propagated this weave. It is said that the royals of several dynasties famously favoured Chanderi fabrics for their richness and utility in the searing hot summers of the plains. Suta has further added to the festive allure of the fabric with delicate embroidered lace embellishments.
